I’ve worked in professional broadcasting since I was 18, first in local radio (where I produced and presented a weekly motoring programme) and then for the BBC. I was a reporter/commentator on the FIA World Rally Championship for eight fantastic years from 1995-2002 and I then worked on the FIA World Touring Car Championship. In 2015, I’m the official commentator for the TCR International Series (a brand new global Touring Car racing championship) and I was also part of the commentary team for the worldwide TV feed from the 24 Hours of Le Mans.
UK Car News started life as a website that featured road test videos, at a time when very few sites were doing so. Now that the use of video on the Web is a lot more widespread, I decided to turn UKCN into a blog where I can still upload videos and pics of all things automotive but I can also rant occasionally about what’s going on in the car industry or the various motorsport championships around the globe.
The videos you see on UKCN are available for syndication on other sites, so please get in touch if you’re interested in either the finished videos or using raw UKCN material as rushes for your own edits. You’ll find a ‘contact’ button in the page header.
